Overview
This is one of my favorite ranges! It’s about 90 minutes outside of Raleigh but in my opinion it’s worth the trip. I usually go with a few friends and we make a day of it by spending 3 or 4 hours out on the range. If you plan to be there that long be sure to bring water and maybe a snack. There is a bathroom up at the range safety office if you need one. Noah is the range manager and he’s really cool and laid back. If you’re new to shooting, be upfront and honest about that, and if your experienced, just don’t be stupid. The RSO’s are also cool and helpful if you need it, just ask.
Cost
Most of what this range offers is FREE. If you’re shooting clays there is a cost, it’s about $3 per round of skeet or 5 stand. This range also doesn’t sell anything so be sure to bring everything you’ll need, also bring some water.
Reservations
Reservations are not required, you can just show up, and then get in where you fit in!
